BBC`S Weather Girl opens Sabre Systems` solar suite.

Local BBC weather girl and keen environmentalist, Kaddy Lee-Preston, cut the ribbon at Sabre System’s official opening of Kent’s first Solar Suite. Based in Ruxley Corner, Sidcup, Sabre Systems is the largest independent stockist of heating and plumbing parts in the south and is now also the first to boast a dedicated solar energy suite. Over one hundred installers and consumers turned out to celebrate the opening on the 31st August. The Suite includes a range of solar power systems as well as a fully commissioned solar system on site. Gary Haseltine, business manager of Sabre Systems (above left) said: “We are really pleased to open this solar suite. We want installers to consider it and use it as their own showroom - a place to gather information or bring their customers to browse and view various solar options.” On the day many installers registered on Sabre Systems Accredited Domestic Solar Installers Scheme. This is a measure introduced by Sabre Systems to steer installation business in the direction of accredited solar installers only. Sabre Systems’ training partner, The Plumbing Academy, was also there to talk to installers about solar training. Many of the key industry manufacturers including Ariston, RM Solar, Honeywell, Kane & May and Kamco were present to help with the celebrations..
